Board
of Trustees
The
purpose of the board of trustees is to help the chapter in all
areas of operations. It is in place to help the chapter achieve
its goals and to hold the chapter accountable if those goals
are not fulfilled. The board of trustees is an intregal part
of the chapter leadership. The board is typically made up of
a group of alumni, friends of the chapter, parents, and faculty
members. This group wll meet regularly to challenge and encourage
undergraduate chapter leadership and to help oversee the general
welfare of the chapter. The board ensures the chapter is functioning
in accordance with the Bylaws, Policies and Procedures of the
National Fraternity, and in accordance with the rules of the
host academic institution. This brings oversight of the chapter
back to the local level, where it should be.
